Korpus School of Art History: 2011-2018

Between 2010*-2018, Rebecca Kimmel’s College Portfolio Preparation students (the vast majority of them having studied with her exclusively at Korpus) have earned *over $10 MILLION in combined offered Total Financial Aid Packages, including Scholarships, Grants, and Loans!

*This figure accounts for the total amount of financial aid money offered to students by all financial aid offering schools calculated over 4 years of time.

Four of her College Portfolio Prep students have received near full scholarship offers to Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), consistently ranked as one of the best private art schools in the US. Several of her students who have applied to RISD have been accepted with total financial aid packages exceeding $31,000 per year each.

The amount of scholarship money offered to College Portfolio Preparation students by art colleges and universities depends on many factors: how hard the individual student works, how much prior experience the student has had, and parental involvement. A huge factor however is the amount of time an individual student has spent studying at Korpus. We recommend that high school students begin developing their college portfolios as soon as possible, with ninth grade being the most optimal. Earlier is even better. Typically students need to study with us for a minimum of 6 months to 1 year in order to develop a scholarship portfolio.

Please note that Korpus does not guarantee that all students will be admitted to all schools to which they apply or receive scholarship offers. However, 100% of our College Portfolio Prep students have been admitted to one or more top art schools and universities, and the vast majority of them have received large financial aid packages, including scholarships, grants, and loans.

*In 2010, prior to founding her founding Korpus School of Art, Rebecca Kimmel had taught one private student exclusively through another program for 4 years and this student received a massive scholarship to RISD.
